Troubleshooting Guide

If you’re experiencing issues with your internet or equipment, follow these steps to resolve common problems. If your problem persists, please contact our support team for assistance.

1. Check Your Connections

Make sure all cables are securely connected:

  • Confirm your modem, router, and related devices are properly plugged in.
  • Check Ethernet cables for secure connections and any visible damage.
  • If using WiFi, ensure your device is within range of your router.

2. Reboot Your Modem and Router

Perform a soft reboot to clear temporary issues:

  • Unplug your modem and router from the power outlet.
  • Wait about 30 seconds before plugging them back in.
  • Allow your devices to fully restart.

Note: Avoid pressing the reset button as it restores factory settings and erases your custom configurations.

3. Verify Your Device Settings

Ensure your computer or mobile device is set up correctly:

  • Confirm WiFi is enabled and connected to the correct network.
  • Check that your network drivers or firmware are up to date.
  • Temporarily disable VPN or proxy settings to rule out conflicts.

4. Update Router/Modem Firmware

An outdated firmware version can cause connectivity issues. Visit your router or modem manufacturer’s website for the latest updates and follow their instructions to update your device.

5. Additional Troubleshooting Steps

If you’re still experiencing issues, consider the following:

  • Test your connection on another device to see if the problem persists.
  • Reposition your router to a more central location to improve WiFi coverage.
  • Check for interference from other devices like microwaves or cordless phones.
  • Run an internet speed test to assess your connection performance.
